Reflections on reality: A Trybou kitchen
Since 1933, Trybou has been manufacturing custom cabinets, specializing in kitchens and bathrooms. In partnership with Designregio Kortrijk, Trybou was given an opportunity to showcase their exclusive kitchen designs in a remarkable manner right in the center of Kortrijk. To enhance brand visibility, Slinky Spaces was enlisted to craft an attention-grabbing pop-up design.
Drawing inspiration from surrealism we wanted to explore the lines between reality and fantasy.
At its heart is a gravity-defying kitchen island set upon a carpet mimicking lush grass. A circulair mirror expand the space, while a cloud-like structure serves as a playful light source.
